This is a Federal Work Study employment program that requires the applicant who is applying for this position to be either applying or receiving Federal Financial Aid and is a currently enrolled National University student in good academic standing. No other applications will be accepted.
The candidate will assist the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network’s (ACS CAN) local policy efforts through research and data analysis. The intern will use community health promotion and education skills to outreach and build community support for tobacco control & other cancer related policies in federal, state and local municipalities. In partnership with the NU Community health program staff, the candidate will develop and test a hypothesis related to a local policy issue.
